I needed a second appetizer for tomorrow’s Hanukkah party. Because my niece was NOT pleased that I didn’t make my cheese ball turkey for Thanksgiving, I settled on a cheese ball. But what shape kinda sorta goes with the theme? I ran a bunch of (dumb) ideas by my high school English teacher/yearbook advisor/Jewish mother. Her response: “Go with a bagel. It’s the obvious choice. What are you gonna do? Make a cheese menorah?” So, I present the Linda Cohen-approved Cheesy Everything Bagel, which I’ll be serving with bagel chips.
